Details: This car is a well built and restored 1973 XB FORD FALCON, and an amazing replica of Max's Yellow Interceptor Sedan from the first Mad Max film. Built by a recognized expert with long standing.

"Originally A Gordon Hayes and Grant Hodgson build (Mad Max Unlimited, Australia) The car arrived in the United States in September of 2007.
I have all original documentation including shipping, U.S. and Australian Customs, and Department of Homeland Security. The car has a clear Illinois title.
In 2018 Interceptor was shipped to GRC Performance in Mission Viejo CA for a complete refit of drivetrain and suspension.
The front suspension is a Rods and Customs RC107, their top of the line Mustang II style power assisted rack and pinion specifically designed for this car. It is fully adjustable for ride height and firmness.
Brakes are Wilwood dyna-lite pro series drilled and slotted on all four corners. Brake booster has been rebuilt as well as the heater box and core.
The Ford 9" rear has new 3.50 gear along with one off Currie axles made for this Aussie Ford rear. Custom frame connectors for rigid body and enhanced handling. Factory XB GT traction rods, and Koni shocks complete the rear assemby.
The Mad Max wheels are finished in header exhaust coat "Jet Coat"that has been polished. BF Goodrich Radial TA 265 X 50 X 15 rear and BF Goodrich Radial TA 265 X 60 X 14 front.
Engine is analuminum modular stroked to 5.0L . 4340 steel stroker crankshaft, 4340 steel H-Beam rods, CP blower pistons, Seal Power bearings, Fm bearings and ARP main bearings. All backed with a Ford AOD 5 speed transmission, for the best combination of street/strip and highway manners.
3V aluminum heads, topped with a Roush2300TVS intercooled supercharger with an 80mm pulley. Ford GT500 electric fuel pumps feed the beast. A Diablo Trinity T1000 computer allows the tune to be adjusted as will the monitoring of all functions.
Paint is great. All new rubber door seals. All new interior including head liner and trim. New windscreen. Carpeting.
This Interceptor is truly one of a kind. 540 hp and capable of an 650 hp, only limited by by the heads as the block is good to over 850 hp. At an approximate 2900lb curb weight she has blinding acceleration, frightening top end speed and Superb handling.
She is not for the faint of heart. As long as you keep your foot out of the boost.
